Johnny Caldwell Statue
Johnny Caldwell was a member of Immaculata ABC, he represented Ireland at the 1956 Olympics in Melbourne and became World Bantamweight Champion in 1961.
Located at the historic Dunville Park on the Falls Road, close to where the sportsman grew up the statue stands at just over 6ft, the sculpture is bigger than life size as Caldwell was a diminutive 5ft 1in in real life.
