Located at the foot of the Belfast Hills connecting North and West Belfast is the picturesque Springfield Dam.
Dating from the 18th century, when it was part of the successful Springfield Cotton Factory the Dam is an important part of Belfast’s industrial heritage.
Enjoy the tranquil surroundings of the large pond connected by a wooden bridge that overlooks an abundance of wildlife from swans, ducks and cormorant to heron and moorhens complete with pontoons attracting local angling fishermen.
